Tudor Cisu is no stranger to hard work. The 19 year old won numerous awards for his academic achievements in high school as well as winning national competitions in Latin and Mathematics. Tudor Cisu also puts in a fair mount of hours doing volunteer work in addition to holding down a couple of part time jobs.
And if that wasn’t enough, Tudor Cisu grabs every opportunity to take part in research studies conducted by some of the nation’s top medical researchers. Now a sophomore at Binghamton University in New York State, he’s part of Beaumont Bioengineering Research Laboratory under Principal Investigator, Dr Jacques Beaumont.
So what does he do in his spare time? Tudor Cisu manages to compete competitively in Ultimate Frisbee and Table Tennis. He also has a passion for solving the Rubik’s Cube and is always trying to improve his best time. This consistent pursuit of excellence has served Tudor Cisu well and will no doubt come in handy as he pursues his ambition of becoming a physician scientist, specializing in cardiovascular disease research.
