Understanding the importance of being physically active, Marty Carrascosa engages in a lot of such regularly. Physical exercise helps prevent diseases, improves stamina, strengthens and tones the body, enhances flexibility, controls weight and generally improves a person’s quality of life. He is, in his words, an “adrenaline freak.”
Marty Carrascosa was into the latest fads, such as, break dancing and skate boarding as a child growing up on a farm in Texas. He is mostly into physical activities, although he also enjoys such couch potato activities as watching and replaying his favorite movies. Among the jobs he held as a new transplant from Texas to Hollywood, California was that of a fitness trainer, earning his certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Martial arts, specifically “MMA” or mixed martial arts style of fighting, is also one of Marty Carrascosa’s favorite physical activities. Combining fighting techniques from various martial arts traditions and non-traditions, MMA is a full contact combat sport. Outside the gym, he likes to engage in skydiving, bungee jumping, off-roading and riding his street bikes.
Marty Carrascosa earned his bachelor’s degree in Business, minor in Nutrition from Stephen F. Austin State University located in Nacogdoches, Texas. He moved to Hollywood, California in 2000, and there immersed himself in the Hollywood scene working various jobs in film until he formed DirtyBird Entertainment, LLC. He left Hollywood and is now a consultant on the formation of limited liability companies.
